g² KIDS | THE CURIOUS MINDS COLLECTION
g² KIDS | THE CURIOUS MINDS COLLECTION
The Curious Minds Collection is a developing learning collection from g² Kids, created to help children and young people explore how they think, notice patterns, ask questions, imagine possibilities, remember, focus and make sense of the world around them.
The collection is designed to make ideas about thinking and inquiry feel accessible, playful and age-appropriate, without flattening different minds into one “right” way of learning.
QUESTION
Encourage curiosity and independent thinking.
NOTICE
Help learners spot patterns, details and connections.
EXPLORE
Create space for imagination, experimentation and discovery.
Curiosity is not a distraction from learning. It is one of its engines.
The Curious Minds Collection is designed to grow with the learner.
AGES 8–11 | EVERY BRAIN HAS A SUPERPOWER
A playful introduction to different ways of thinking, noticing, remembering, imagining, feeling and focusing.
AGES 12–15 | HOW YOUR MIND EXPLORES THE WORLD
A deeper look at how young people process information, form ideas, spot patterns and approach questions.
AGES 16+ | KNOW YOUR MIND
A more reflective pathway exploring thinking style, strengths, challenges, self-understanding and independent inquiry.
Supporting parent and teacher guides can sit alongside the collection to help adults understand the ideas without turning them into labels or limits.
The language grows up with the learner. The curiosity stays.
The Curious Minds characters give different ways of thinking a face, a voice and a little personality of their own.
PENNY PATTERN
Notices repetition, connections and things other people may miss.
QUINN QUESTION
Asks why, what if and what else could explain this?
RILEY REMEMBER
Holds onto details, stories and information.
IMOGEN IMAGINE
Builds possibilities, ideas and new ways of seeing things.
FELIX FEEL
Notices emotions, atmosphere and how experiences affect people.
FRANKIE FOCUS
Gets absorbed, follows interests deeply and keeps working at a problem.
The characters are not labels or personality types. They are playful ways for young learners to recognise that minds can approach the same world differently.
Different minds notice different things. That is part of the discovery.
The Curious Minds Collection is currently in development within g² Kids.
The collection is being developed as a set of age-appropriate learning resources, character-led materials and supporting guidance for children, young people, parents and educators.
The first materials will be released when the learning content, age pathways and supporting resources are ready for public use.
